Zorbaz, established in 1969, has a rich history of associations with guests who frequented it in their youth and today, pass on the tradition with their children and grandchildren.
The Hotel Shoreham opened in 1910. Through its 100 years, it served as hotel, restaurant, drive-in restaurant with carhops, resort, apartment building, and then restaurant in 1974 when Rick and Tom Lynch took over. The Hotel and Shoreham Chapel are the only two original buildings left. LLHG took over in 2014.
Opened in 2019, Lure Lakebar draws its inspiration from coastal travels and late-night cocktails. Radically renovated, Lure features an open kitchen to put on a culinary show similar to the bar whose mixologists conjure up unique craft cocktails. Guests can come by car or boat to participate in the chic, up-north Lure experience.
Long Bridge Bar, Grill and Marina opened in 1949. Nestled in a protected bay, Long Bridge offers a unique, cozy lake atmosphere for locals and visitors to gather for great food, cocktails, music and scenery. It also has a 60 slip marina with gas for sale. Guest parking is available for both boats and vehicles. LLHG took over in 2015 and turned it into a year-round establishment.
The Fireside, opened in 1948, is a northern Minnesota lakes area icon with house-made, hand-cut foods. An immense dose of style dominates a menu filled with classic, eclectic, and inventive fare. Our stylish, chic, and posh dining room is built around an open-air antique charcoal grill with a sensational view of Lake Detroit. In 2005, Lake Life Hospitality Group took over.
Lakeside Tavern and Brewery became part of the Lake Life Family in 2019, but its history goes much deeper. Lakeside was originally built in 1891 and was transformed in the 1980s, tearing down lodges and a pool to become a fine dining establishment. Eventually, the Colorado Contingency purchased Lakeside and added the brewery while leaning into elevated pub foods. And here we are.
